Adil Douiri

Adil Douiri (born the November 16th 1963 with Reduction, Morocco) was Moroccan minister for Tourism.

Studies and diplomas

Adil Douiri obtained its scientific Baccalaureat (mathematics and physics) with mention in 1980. After a Preparatory class of Mathematics Higher and Mathematical Special with the College Saint-Louis with Paris (1981 - 1982) and a passage to the National school of the Highways Departments, it obtains its Diploma for the occupation of Civil engineer of the Bridges & Chaussées in 1985.

Track records

Of 1986 with 1992, Adil Douiri is in load of the management of the investments of the bank BNP Paribas and of its customers to the the United States (Bourse of New York and venture capital), that is to say approximately 700 million $.

He is elected twice better managing American wallet with Paris by the specialized press, in 1987 and 1991.

He is also the promoter and the cofounder with Amyn Alami of the creation project of the 1st bank of businesses to the Morocco, Casablanca Finance Group; become CFG Group today, an financial institution whose majority of the capital is between the hands of its employees.

In 8 years, it makes develop the company by the recruitment of more or less 100 Moroccan frameworks of very high level.

CFG Group was one of the pioneers of the financial innovations to the Morocco during the last decade and made it possible many Moroccan companies to be modernized and reach directly the saving, without the mediation of a commercial bank.

It is since 2000, the president of the Board of trustees of CFG Groupe.

Between 2002 - 2007, he was Minister for tourism under the government of Driss Jettou.

Engagements citizens

Since 1992, it shows a personal involvement, with dimensions of the administration of finances, in the design and the drafting of the laws governing the various Moroccan financial markets, as in the installation of the new institutions which was followed from there (new Bourse of Casablanca, council deontologic of the transferable securities).

In 2002, he becomes the originator-writer of the future regulation framework governing the capital risks.

It is implied personally in the creation and the initial organization of three professional associations (management companies of funds, companies of stock exchange intermediation, finance companies in capital risks).

IT is also, of 1996 with 1999, one of the members of the think tank near fire Hassan II.

General confederation of the companies of Morocco (CGEM)

Adil Douiri is also member of the executive office of the General confederation of the companies of Morocco (CGEM).

He will become even the president of the economic commission and financial of this confederation.

He is also the originator-writer of the national strategy of economic development 2000 - 2010.

Of July 2002 to October of the same year, he is the originator-writer of the contribution of the CGEM to the priorities of the economic policy and industrial for the next government.

Adil is member of the committee maroco - American for the trade and the investment; and a member of the Left Istiqlal.

Adil Douiri also contributed to work of ONG “Alliance Pro” by the presentation of an economic policy integrating a sectoral strategy and aiming at the acceleration of job creation in the context of the agreement of free trade with the European Union.

Caritative works

He is also the cofounder of the Académia foundation. Académia has the role to finance the studies in the largest universities and schools of the world of the Moroccan students resulting from underprivileged mediums; the selection criteria of the prizes winner cumulate school excellence with the reasonableness of the incomes of the parents

Since 1997, the year of foundation of Académia, and annually, the Académia foundation deals with 10 new students in conformity with its criteria and, in parallel, offers premiums of excellence to 15 other classified students first in the contests of admission at the very first Moroccan and European universities

He will become also the president of the Académia foundation of 1999 with 2001.
