Adeptus Mechanicus

In the universe of Warhammer 40,000, the adeptus mechanicus is the organization of the Imperium in load of science and the technologie.
Based on the planet Mars, Adeptus Mechanicus holds all the technological knowledge of Imperium.

March is the planet of Adeptus Mechanicus, head office and field of the technoprêtres of the Worship of the Machine. The Red planet is one of the wonders of the galaxy, it is the workshop of Imperium, the first world forges, the mother of the vessels and the guardian of the secrecies. Adeptus Mechanicus holds the technical training of Imperium, which preserves the scientific secrecies of old times and carries out research on new sciences of the thousand-year-old 41ème.

But all the knowledge accumulated during the technological Moyen-âge was lost during the Era of the fights. This knowledge was in party found by the armies of the Empereur, but not being included/understood, it is ritualisé.
