Adeloch
Adeloch , also called Adalloc , is the 27e bishop of Strasbourg, of 817 with 822.
Tutor of Louis the Piles, it decides the construction of the church Saint-Thomas and the neighbouring school. Its Romance Sarcophagus , richly decorated and going back to 1130, is preserved in this church.
Old a Village located between Koenigshoffen and the Bruche named Adelshoffen , in reference to the bishop of the 9th century.
