Adelina Patti
Adelina Patti , called Patti , born the February 10th 1843 with Madrid and died the July 27th 1919 in the castle of Craig-there-Nos, Wales, is a singer of opera ( Soprano Colorature ) Italy.
Biography
Singers both, his/her parents emigrated with New York where Adelina began its studies of song and began as of the 9 years age (September 1852). She travelled to the the United States and gave to it more than 300 concerts. At 16 years, it began in New York in an opera from Bellini then came to London where it triumphed in the sonnambula . Its beginnings in 1862 with Paris in same work made it adopt immediately of the public.
She interpreted with wonder the great roles of the Italian opera. Its acute soprano voice went up with facility until against-F and vocalized with an agility of nightingale.
Adelina Patti made the admiration of Tchekhov, which liked the Italian song, that it considered higher, and set up celebrates it Soprano in model as well as the Ténor Enrico Tamberlick (1820 - 1889).
