Adelaide de Vermandois

Adelaide de Vermandois and of Valois , (v.1062 † 1122), girl of Herbert IV, count de Vermandois and of Alix de Valois (1104-1141).

Of its marriage with Hugues Ier Large the, (1057 † 1102), it had:

  • Mahaut, or Maud or Mathilde, (1080 - 1130), married in 1090 with Raoul Ier de Beaugency (1068 † 1113)

  • Beatrice (1082 - after 1144), married to Hugues III of Gournay
  • Raoul Ier (1085 October -14 1152)
  • Isabelle de Vermandois or Elisabeth (1085 - 1131), married to Robert de Beaumont, count de Meulan, then with Guillaume II of Warenne, Count de Surrey
  • Constancy, (1086 -??), married to Godefroy of the Ferté-Left-handed person
  • Agnes (1090 - 1125), married to Boniface de Savone
  • Henri (1091 - 1130), lord of Chaumont in Vexin, assassinated by Thomas de Marle.
  • Simon (1093 February -10 1148), bishop of Boundary-line
  • Guillaume, (towards 1094 - towards 1096)

She married then Renaud, count de Clermont, wire of Hugues and Marguerite de Roucy. They had as a child:

  • Marguerite, born about 1105, married in first weddings before 1119 with Charles I {{er}}, count de Flandre.
