Adelaide de Suse (or Adélais/Adaline de Suza , Adelaide of Turin ), born Adelaide of Crystallized in 1015 or 1020 - died the January 6th, 1091,

girl of Oldéric-Manfred II of Oriate (after 991 - 1036), margrave (marquis) of Suze,
and of Berthe of Tuscany (towards 976 - after 1029), margrave de Suze and countess of Turin,

Biography

Adelaide de Suse married Hermann IV of Souabe (1014 - July 28th, 1038) of which it had a son:

Then, she married Henri de Montferrat

Then, towards 1046 it married Othon Ier of Savoy, (1023 - 1060), 3rd count de Savoie (1051) and of Maurienne, of which it had:

By this marriage, it brought to the Maison of Savoy of vast possessions in Italy of north, with Suze (key of the passage of the Mount-Cenis), Ivrée and Pignerol.

With the death of Othon Ier of Savoy in 1060, it held regency. Mistress-woman, it preserved the supervision a long time. ----
