She was not married yet with died of her father, and thus not equipped, and then thus to succeed to him like countess of Provence, in joint possession with her cousins Bertrand Ier of Toulouse and Bertrand II. She had however into clean the castle of Forcalquier.
She married in 1079 Armengol IV, count d' Urgel, and was the mother of:
- Guillaume III († 1129), count de Forcalquier.
- Adelaide.
In 1092, her husband died, the county of Urgel passed to his/her son-in-law Armengol V and it settled with her Guillaume son in Provence, in Forcalquier. The following year, the house of Provence died out with the death of Bertrand II, and its rights passed to Gerberge, married to Gilbert of Millau, count de Gévaudan, then, in 1115, at the house of Barcelona. The conflicts of interests between the houses of Toulouse and Barcelona caused the baussenques Guerres and led to a territorial division of Provence. A first agreement allotted the north of Durance to the house of Toulouse and was unaware of the rights of Adelaide and Guillaume, installed in this zone. Thanks to the distance of Toulouse, it could manage of it a part and Adélaïde was entitled countess of Forcalquier . A second division to the mileu of the 12th century, will recognize their rights by dividing the marquisat between the houses of Urgel and Toulouse.
