Additional Mode of work

The additional mode of work (or RTS ) is a customs term indicating certain services carried out by the Douane and invoiced with the users of this administration.

It indicates any mission of visit, of checking, of monitoring as any operation which is attached to the operations of Douane S and to the collection of the duties and taxes and that Douanier S have to carry out at the request of the users during and apart from the standard times of services and/or of the regulatory places of work.

This term replaced the extra-legal work (or SUCH) which had already replaced the work except hours (or THH).

In the world

In Africa, extra-legal work is in general directly versed to the customs officer for whom it represents an important complement of income. It can be sometimes assimilated to Corruption, the payment of this one being often obligatory in order to be able to release from the goods.
