Adasaurus

Adasaurus is a Dinosaure which lived in Mongolia (Bayankhongor) at the end of the Crétacé, there are 75 M.A. It was discovered in 1977.

  • Size: 2 m of length, 60 cm in height, 15 kg

  • Mode: carnivore

Anatomy

As at other dromaeosaures, the bone of the hip resembles more that of a ornithischien than with that of a saurischien. Adasaurus had a posterior claw similar to a notch of stop but smaller than that of Deinonychus and Velociraptor.

  • GI 100/20: an incomplete cranium, ilion (20.2 cm); pubis (24.1 cm), ischion (11.8 cm).
  • GI 100/51: bone of the legs, phalanges, claws.
