Adaptive Maintenance

An application often depends on other applications. In data processing for example, a software is carried out in general above an operating system. When this one evolves/moves, it can make necessary an adaptation of the software. Adaptive maintenance consists in making evolve/move an application when its environment changes, in order to ensure its continuity of operation. Adaptive maintenance is one of the four principal activities of maintenance of an application:
