Adam de Craponne , gentleman of Provence and Engineer French, (1526 - 1576)
Biography
Born in 1526 with Living room-of-Provence, Adam de Craponne built between 1557 and 1558 the channel which bears its name, the Canal of Craponne, which made it possible to irrigate the Crau with water coming from the Durance. Craponne financed work personally, but also had to make loans, in particular near Nostradamus.It was poisoned in Nantes in 1576.
