Extracts

; Sonnet Resolution of Master Adam not to like more its ungrateful by the protest but it makes some with its confessor

My Father with two knees I show my mischievousnesses,

With a repentance major and solemn,
And not to mislead your paternal care,
I leave of Phillis the pleasant torments.

Moving away these beautiful eyes, my accessory sovereigns,

I change into one night one eternal beautiful day,
And so for liking one becomes criminal,
It is too little that the hell for expier my defects.

Since it is necessary to obey the laws of the Almighty,

For a so great subject I am obeying,
By breaking my irons soft violence.

ha that in this change I am astonished!

And that I require little for your penitence,
If seeking my safety I pass for damné.
