Adalelme de Troyes

Adalelme , dead the April 8th 894, was count de Troyes of 886 with 894. It was wire of Émenon, count de Poitiers, and of a robertienne.

It succeeded his maternal uncle Robert I {{er}}, count de Troyes into 886. In 891, it organizes the transfer of the abbey of Saint-Wolf inside the walls of the city. In 893, it confirmed the donation of the field of Chaource made by his uncle Robert with the abbey of Montiéramey. In 894, it attacks with his brother Adémar, count de Poitiers, it attacks Aurillac, but dies fifteen days afterwards.

It does not seem to have had children of his Ermengarde wife. Richard the Dispenser of justice, duke of Burgundy, benefitted from the disorders which followed its death to seize the county of Troyes.
