Ad hoc is a Locution Latin E which means which goes towards it towards what it must go , i.e. formed with a precise aim .

Etymology

AD is a prefix borrowed from an old language (Latin) which expresses in vulgar Latin the possession, and in more literary Latin this prefix indicates the direction (towards) or the destination

Hoc is included/understood in the variation of conclusive Difficulty, haec, hoc indicating an object which is brought closer more in time.

The ideology of the expression ad hoc is more one concept of attachment, connection, appendix or addition of an object (text, sentence, graph…) with another object present.
