Actuchomage

Actuchomage is a Web site of current events and information on the Chômage.

Created in September 2004 by unemployed resulting from the " battle of Recalculés" , Actuchomage is published by association APNEA (Alternatives For a New Economy of Employment).

The site places at the disposal of the visitors several headings of information on unemployment, employment and social cohesion.

In November 2006, the site exceeded the 135.000 unique visitors. In two years of existence, the site accommodated more than one million visits and its audience goes increasing.

Fight against discriminations at the time of recruitment

Actuchomage worked recently against discriminations at the time of recruitment on the criterion of the age, in particular by supporting 7 applicants for work against 70 companies, recruitment firms and Internet sites, near the DUMP. This business, bearing on 40 advertisements mentioning of the illegal criteria of age, was classified without continuation by the Parquet of Paris whereas the DUMP recognized that there had been intention expresses to discriminate. Actuchomage wonders on the application of the Law as regards discriminations, and about the utility of the DUMP.

Inculpation of its director

In August 2006, the director of the publication was put in examination to have left during 48 hours on a forum the punishable message of a Net surfer, agent of a ANPE inviting to burn his agency (business " Radiateur"). This message had first of all been locked before being removed. The court of St Nazaire estimates that Actuchomage is responsible for " public provocation at the commission of délits".
