Actual-Hebdo

Actual-Hebdo is a weekly magazine lampoonist created, animated and written - mainly - by Micberth, (1972-1973). The most virulent publication of the parallel press of the time. Administration : Catherine Cormery. Technical direction: Yves Boulay. Editor association: Eric Asudam (pseudonym of M. - G. Mr.). Draftsmen: Bernos (Bernard Deyriès) and Freuslon (another pseudonym of M. - G. Mr.). Also take part in the drafting: Annick Becquet, Gerard Licked (the Father Cat), Carol Duvernoy, ADG, Germaine, Jean-Paul Pineau, Ann Kastries, G. Beaufrêre, and Rocking Yaset, etc

History

The history of Actual-Hebdo, when it is studied more than thirty years afterwards, appears to take on triple importance: it is initially a collective adventure which left memorable traces in the spirits of all its participants; it is then a libertarian combat against “the all-capacity” which was discovered by a politico-legal smothering of the newspaper perpetrated thanks to the complicity of the administration of the postal and telecommunications authorities; it is finally - and especially - the emergence of Eric Asudam, the hard and convivial double of M. - G. Mr., swashbuckler of the feather, interpellator of the consciences, bousculor of generally accepted ideas.

Intended - at the origin - to be a corporative newspaper, a body of contact between the authors of the Trade-union Editions - animated by Maryse and Daniel Decrauze, ex-collaborators of M. - G. Mr. - Actual-Hebdo very quickly became a genuine machine of war against the capacity. The reactions were not made wait; Asudam evokes them, in Actual, on May 19th, 1973: “I already said you I believe, writes it, that our newspaper was written in Montlucon, managed until these last weeks with Limeray, printed in the Sarthe and road in Saint-Amandois. Beautiful rhombus! ” “First police investigation with Limeray; second investigation with Saint-Amand-Montrond; third investigation in the Sarthe; fourth investigation carried out by the police chief from Montlucon, in Montlucon” “That honors for a so frail newspaper! ” “This eagerness to be harmed which often depresses me, has the merit to grow my action. Alleluia! The public authorities do not try to eliminate anything or no matter whom. Thank you public authorities. ” After several months of police persecutions, Actual-Hebdo will cease appearing, not because of an official prohibition - what had ensured a considerable publicity to him - but under the terms of a negative decision of the Joint committee of the publications and news agencies which made impossible the sending of the newspaper to the subscribers.

Asudam explains on this subject ( Pardon not to be dead on August 15th, 1974 page 149, NDF 1977 ): “… a true structured movement was organized around our sheet.

It was not possible with the all-capacity to let live this rising force officially.

An great adventure - doubled of a mode to be journalistic new - was completed.

After this shipwreck, Jean Boizeau, director of Minute and Crapouillot , fished out Eric Asudam and a collaboration of chronicler in his newspapers offered to him.
