Acts and words - Before the exile is a collection, published in 1875, texts of Victor Hugo written between 1841 and 1851: public Speeches, statement, political texts intended for the Room of the Pars, the Constituent Assembly (1848) or the legislative Parliament (between 1849 and 1851).

These texts, as the title of the collection indicates it, were written before with the Exil of Victor Hugo (1851 - 1870).
