Actor (Phthie)

In the Greek Mythology, Actor (in Greek old Ἄκτωρ / Aktôr ), wire of Myrmidon and Pisidicé, is the king of Phthie and the father of Iros like, according to the versions, of Eurytion and Antigone.

It accommodated Pélée in its exile and murder of Phocos purified it. It also gave him his daughter in marriage as well as a third of its kingdom. (This legend is sometimes allotted to Eurytion.)
