Active policies of the job market
The active political of the job market , or “ political of activation ”, or “ active programs of the job market ” (in English, Activates ploughing market policies ), are programs set up by the Public administrations on the Job market in order to encourage the Chômeurs to find a Emploi.
These programs developed first of all in the Scandinavian Pays, then were used with the the United Kingdom (program “New Deal”) and in several States of the the United States.
There exist three principal categories of policies:
- the installation of Services public of employment (“job centers”), i.e. centers of assistance to the unemployed. These centers draw up lists of job offers available and to make them consultable to the unemployed, who place the unemployed in training programs so necessary, and which carry out, in certain countries, a personalized follow-up of the unemployed. In certain countries, these centers ensure simultaneously the payment of the Allocations unemployment, which they can condition with an effective research of employment by the unemployed, thus fighting against the abuses. In France, it is about the ANPE/Unedic.

the installation of Formation S to increase the employability of the unemployed;
- the payment of subsidies over one short duration with companies or public administrations, in exchange of the recruiting of unemployed, in order to help them to acquire an experiment.
