Act of child without life

The act of child without life is established in France when a child is deceased before the Birth notification, if it were not established of doctor's certificate indicating that the child was born alive and viable (article of the Civil code French).

This act makes it possible to make register the child in the Family record book. It will be registered as a child, according to his row of birth, but only in the " part; décès" page. This inscription can be done immediately, if the parents are married or if they have already a child together (booklet of natural parents) or a posteriori, during the establishment of a Family record book (Mariage, birth of a child common to both parents).
