Acid Blues
The Acid Blues is a new kind of music which mixes the Rock, the Soul, the Funk, the Jazz and the Blues. This style undoubtedly appeared with Seattle, with the the United States at the beginning of the 21e century and it takes as a starting point many older musical movements, mainly the Blues rock'n'roll and the Acid Jazz with artists like Jimi Hendrix.
History
Among the pioneers of the acid blues, one can distinguish Jimi Hendrix, Cream, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Disorder, and especially the group Stoney Curtis Band which is undoubtedly the group of acid the most outstanding blues today. One can also quote Lonie Walker and Miles Stones whose albums contain acid blues.The majority of the artists of acid blues remain relatively little known except notable for Jimi Hendrix. This musical style hardly attracts the media because of its specificity and of its innovation but if it starts to have a faithful public as proves it the success of Loney Walker and Sony Curtis at the beginning of the 21e century.
