Acid 3-acetic indol
AIA ( acid β indolacetic ) belonged to the family of the auxines; it is about a relatively weak auxine, just like the AIB ( acid β indolbutyric ). It is a growth regulator often used in culture in vitro , and more particularly in certain research in physiological matter because it has the advantage of being a natural substance. It is for this same reason that it is sensitive to the enzymatic systems of degradation of the auxine; moreover, its solutions miss stability and oxidize with the light.
