Achuar
The Achuar , are one of thirteen recognized indigenous nationalities of the Ecuador.
The Achuar is one of the four groups of dialects (Shuar, Achuar , Aguaruna and Huambisa) of the linguistic branch ethno Jivaro. Achuar represent approximately 4500 individuals located on both sides border between the Peru and the Ecuador. Jivaro is one of the indigenous families most homogeneous of the Amazonian basin.
