Achim Steiner
Achim Steiner is a German diplomat born in 1961 with the Brésil and since June 2006, the Managing director of the Programme of the United Nations for the environment (PNUE). He is also member of the Cabinet of the general secretary of the United Nations.
He studied the Philosophie, the Political science and the Economic scenes with the Université of Oxford. Then, it has off a control of the London School Economics. He also studied at the German Institute of development to Berlin like with the Harvard Business School.
Between 1998 and 2001, he was General secretary of the world Commission of the stoppings to the Cape in South Africa. From 2001 until 2006, he was Managing director with the International union for the nature conservation.
