It began Monday April 2nd 1956 at thirteen hours thirty, its 10.000e episode was diffused on May 12th 1995. Ace the World Turns, during the most fifty years of its diffusion was always turned to New York including 43 years with Manhattan and 7 with Brooklyn.

It is one of rare the " grands" soap American operas not to have never known diffusion in France, even short.

It was precursory as regards representation of the Homosexualité in the daily serials of day in the United States: first gay male character in 1988, first gay teenager in 2005 (Luke Snyder), first gay kiss (summer 2007).
