Acclerando is a novel of Charles Stross, initially published of 1999 to 2004 in the form of news for the review Asimov' S Science Fiction.

Humanity knows a technological expansion without precedent. At a certain point (the Nanomachine S car-réplicantes, or perhaps the artificial conscience), this expansion becomes self-sustained, and the world does not have anything any more to see with what one could have imagined before (see singularity).

Accelerando makes us nevertheless imagine this singularity, through three generations of the Macx clan.
