Acapte
The acapte was a Transfer tax exigible at the time of died from the Seigneur or the Censitaire.
The acapte corresponded to the doubling of the revenue, but it could go until the fruit totality the one year old to choose over three years. the acapte was the right which had by the censitaire to died of the lord and back-acapte the the right which had by its successors to died of the tenant; but in other areas it was the reverse.
Acapte, collects, back-collects were words used especially in the Guyenne and part of the Languedoc. They had many synonyms: the Marciage. In the spring of Bordeaux, the acapte was prescribed by ten years, in that of Toulouse by twenty-nine years only.
