Acadieman
Acadieman is a Superhéros created by the musician and acadian draftsman Daniel “Dano” Leblanc, originating in Moncton. The animated series is diffused on Télévision Rogers, in the Canadian province of the New Brunswick.
History
Dano Leblanc published in the origin a Band-drawn in the Mascaret newspaper of Moncton. The Télévision Rogers then agreed to produce a animated Série, whose diffusion began at the end 2005 in French. The Editions Short-circuit plublié the first episode of band-drawn Acadieman starting from April 2007.
The character
Acadieman is the first Superhéros Acadien, or rather a Anti-héros. He is the official pirate of the French language. He likes the great interiors and hates to go of long distances or to ski. The Café returns it more extremely, following the example spinach S for Popeye. He likes to eat chior, Putin grated, Pets of sisters, tétines of mouse, Homard and fried worse-clams. Its preferred televised series are Passions and he listens to any music, in as much as one hears Cuillère there. He likes to drink Bière, to be held in the coffees, to make fun of the world and to be made spoil. He speaks the Chiac. Acadieman carries a blue T-shirt with the acadian Drapeau with a Death's-head in the place of star, a helmet of leather aviator marked of a letter has yellow, of the green glasses, of the gloves and the leather boots, red pants and a coat of green aviatorAcadieman was born some share in south-east from New Brunswick. When it was small, his/her parents one left in wood by accident, not wanting to miss The Price is Right , their emission of preferred TV.

Some other characters appeared during only some episodes. There is for example Anna, a parody of Anne to the green pinions, and a mutant potato apparrue during the fourth episode of the first season.

In May 2006, at the time of a meeting of exchange between young people and speakers of the seaboard provinces, the young people said to the regional Control Beauséjour health, organizing of this meeting, " You want that the young people consult the www.adosante.org site more? Then called upon a character that they like much: Acadieman".The team of Télésanté of the regional Control of health Beauséjour, manager of the adosante.org site, thus invited Dano LeBlanc to join it, as partner. Since September 2007, Dano, its team and other key players put on line two video clips per month. The MudWorld Productions, the Editions Short-circuit, the Group of technologies of the training of the University of Moncton and the House of young people of Dieppe form also part of this adventure.
The video clips relate to the modules which one finds on the adosante.org site. They speak about nutrition, corporal art, drugs and alcohol, mental health, violence in the relations, physical-activity and sexual health. Acadieman and his/her friends, with their way, questions raise to which face the young people in their life of the every day. Presented with humor in less than two minutes, these clips are downloadable, which makes it possible to the young people thus to be sent them…, to help with the promotion of the adosante.org site.
Since the Internet makes available this information to all the corners from planet, all the video clips comprise two soundtracks: that of the legendary chiac of Acadieman, and another in standard French.
On the whole, 16 clips will be put on line between September 07 and March 08. The production of these video clips was made possible thanks to the financial contribution of Canada Industry via its Francommunautés program virtual.

In spite of the fact that drawing-animated and the cartoon are a success near the young people néo-brunswickois, the reaction is not also good near certain teachers and Acadiens intellectuals. Those affirm that the series promouvoit bad French, at one time or people of south-east should protect their language from the English influence and not to speak the Chiac. The series animated parody often these criticisms. According to other people, it would be the chiac which would make distinct the acadian ones from the south-east of the province, differentiating them from the english-speaking but also from the other French-speaking people.
