Academy of the language asturienne

The Académie of the Language Asturienne in Asturien ' Academia of Llingua Asturiana (ALlA.) is an public institution, founded in 1980 and in charge of the standardization of all that relates to the language asturienne.

It is made up of 21 academicians. Xosé Lluis García Arias was the president until in 2001. The changing is ensured by Anna María Cano.

This institution in particular published orthographical standards (1981), a grammar (1998), a dictionary (2000) and a history of the literature (2002). Its bulletin, Asturianes , appears four times per annum.
