The Académie of architecture is a French Academy of which the goal is the promotion of the quality of architecture, the fitting-out and their teaching and of the conservation of the files on the French history of architecture.

This academy is the heiress of the central Company of the architects, founded in 1840. It took its current name in 1953

It counts a hundred members, admitted by co-optation. They must have " asset an experiment uncontested in various fields of architecture and town planning by work of quality ".

Its seat is in Paris, Place of the Vosges
