Academia de Lansingburgh
Dingy-Saint-Clearly is a common French, located in the department of the Haute-Savoie and the area the Rhone-Alps.
The inhabitants of Dingy-Saint-Clearly are called Dingiens/Dingiennes.
Geography
The foot of the mountain of the Parmelan (see external bonds) high 1.832 m, a road active of Dingy-Saint-Clearly with Blonnière (in the foreground on the image) makes it possible to go up until approximately 1.000 Mr. the Parmelan belongs to the Massif Terminals.
The Fier (river) passes very close to Dingy-Saint-Clearly, through the procession of Dingy, before joining the Rhone.
History
Dimiacum in antiquity, then Dongi at the 13th century.
A portion of Roman way is located near Dingy-Saint-Clearly; a commemorative inscription is embedded in the rock close to the bridge on the Fier river.
The territory belonged to mandement of Annecy until in 1792, parish of Saint-Etienne.
Of 1803 with 1807, Dingy loses the hamlet of Holy-Claire to the profit of the parish of Nâves.

- Vault Saint-Clearly-of-the-Cluse (19th century), built on the ruins of a priory about Cluny of the 10th century, itself high on the vestiges of a temple of Minerve.
