Acacia acinacea is a species of the family of the Mimosaceae , or Fabaceae according to phylogenetic classification.

It is a bush with the scattered branches of 2 m height and 1,5 m in diameter. The Phyllode S have varied forms and a size generally lower than 2 cm length. Small flowers appear in spring. Resisting freezing until -7° C.
