Absolute

Absolute is a French group of fusion metal originating in the 93.

Biography

Originating in Epinay-sur-Seine, Absolute was born in 1998 from fusion from two groups: Noisy underground and Zork.

In 2000, the group records maximum 5 titles, " Zion ", engegistré and mixed in its own room of repetition. The disc is well accommodated by the press and on May 23rd of the same year Absolute plays on the scene of the Elysium Montmartre with Watcha, Pleymo and Anonymus. The title " Mashuptaracedeworker " is diffused on independent radios like on Mouv' in 2000 and 2001.

At the end of 2001 group is preselected for the discoveries of the Printemps of Bourges 2002, where they will gain, in April, the price Talent disc of the Printemps of Bourges and the Fnac. The next month they record the album " Muzzled " (always in their room of repetition then mixed and masterized in July with the Belleville Studio)

The disc leaves on October 18th, 2002 in all France. Mouv' and Rocksound are partners media, individual the eponyme of the album is in playlist on Mouv' like on the majority of the radios of the network Férarock. An excellent reception of criticism follows (Rock Mag, Musique Information, Epok, Contact, Rage, Rocksound, Guitar Part, MCA Mag, Hard rock, Addict…) and MCA makes an interview of the group for the exit of the album. Absolute figure on compilation Frenchcore2 with the title " Mashuptaracedeworker ".

At the same time the group starts a round through all France and Belgium.

  • One can note some dates >> Brussels (2002): first part of Pleymo // Bourges (for spring 2003): with Aqme, Watcha and Lofofora // Angers (Festival Turns of Scene 2003): with Lab ° // Cergy (Furia Sound Festival 2003): Watcha, Sherkan, Superbus and Fishbone

From November 2003 Absolute turns with Freedom For King Kong (added Wünjo on some dates)

  • One can note some dates >> Strasbourg (Dairy) // Lyon (MJC Oullins) // Nevers (Coffee Coal) // Auch (Cri' art) // Angers (Chabada). This round will enclose on May 6th, 2004 with the Nouveau Casino in Paris after more than one year spent on the roads.

At the end of 2003, turning of the clip " Muzzled " (realized by Julien Baillargeon) which will be diffused on MCA and Zik'…
