An abrasive is an extremely hard matter, which uses of others Matériau X more to tighten that this matter. One employs for example abrasive grains recovering a sheet under the name of Sandpaper.
Among the abrasives, let us quote aluminum oxide or Alumine, Carbure of silicon, the emery or Corindon and the dust of Diamant.
The abrasives are in particular agglomerated with phenolic resins or clays to form grinding stones.
