Abraham de Fabert d\' Esternay
Abraham (of) Fabert d' Esternay , born with Metz, the October 11th 1599 and died in Sedan the May 17th 1662 is a man of French war. General lieutenant in 1650, it receives the stick of Marshal of France in 1658. He is also governor of Sedan in 1641, illustrates himself during the Guerre Thirty Year old and besieges Stenay in 1654.
Family
Its great-grandfather Isaïe Fabert lord of Xonville, in the old canton of Gorze, lived Strasbourg about the middle of the 16th century; his/her grandfather, Dominique Fabert - Mangin according to the traditional Lorraine diminutive - had been printer licensed with Strasbourg before fixing itself at Metz after a short stay with Nancy (directing of the ducal printing works of Nancy). Biography
Abraham Fabert enters at fourteen years the military career.
