Abraham Simpson

Abraham J. Simpson (Grandfather) is a fictitious character of the televised animated series Simpson .

Its life

Abraham Simpson is the eccentric husband of Mona Simpson, father of Homer J. Simpson and of Herbert Powell, father-in-law of Marjorie Bouvier Simpson as well as the grandfather of the phratry Bartholomew Jebediah Simpson, LISA Marie Simpson and Maggie Simpson.

Abraham Simpson or Simpson Grandpapa is an old character, grisonnant (finally, its hair is nevertheless yellow) and rather Sénile which lives at the old people's home of Springfield, a sad place, isolated, full with reprocessed demented people, depressive and impotents (a warning close to the entry requires not to refer to the outside world ). Bart and LISA fear the days when grandfather comes to keep them, at least until the moment when he falls asleep and gives up them with their fate. If not, it spends its time complaining in connection with all and anything, of everyone and no matter whom, any subject is good.

Its preferred televised series that it does not louperait under any pretext are Matlock .

It is impossible to determine precisely its age, the series not being very rigorous on this subject. Sometimes it is young person or older than its compatriot Charles Montgomery Burns. He praises himself to have been buttock by the president of the the United States Grover Cleveland (March 18th 1837 - June 24th 1908) on two occasions. He admits to have drawn with Teddy Roosevelt, (October 27th 1858 - January 6th 1919). He is also known to be decorated as a veteran with the Second world war (September 11th 1939 - September 2nd 1945), to have received the Croix of iron during his military service in the American army for actions of mine clearance. He took part in the battle of Pearl Harbor, with the Guerre of the Pacific, the Opération Overlord, the Bataille of the Ardennes, an operation of parachuting above Düsseldorf and with the catch of the Berghof , the Eyrie of Hitler. During the same war, he became member of the Flying Hellfish Battallion in which he will have had under his orders (inter alia) Charles Montgomery Burns. However, the great majority of its memory of the past is known to be very vague and often physically or historically improbable, thus showing the symptoms of its senility. He was member of the Confrérie of the stone masons.

The French lapping machine Philippe Peythieu of Abraham Simpson took as a starting point the voice sometimes trembling of the Géneral de Gaulle (in particular with her famous " I have you compris") for the character.
