History
This village had lords of its name; in a title of 1150 which rests with the departmental records of the Haute-Saône, one finds mentioned Albericus de Abuncurlis . ( Glanures of CH. Longchamps p2.)
Ground of Aboncourt appartenai at the XVIIe century, the Sonnet family and XVIIIe century, the count de Verton. In 1789, it was had by Mr. Guy de Lambrey, who had acquired it of the lord of Neurey.
