Abjat-on-Bandiat (in Occitan Abzac de Bandiat ) is a common French, located in the department of the the Dordogne and the area Aquitaine.

Each year, for approximately 15 years, the championships of conkers have taken place. Conkers is the English name of the maroon and play drank it is to break chestnuts of its adversary.

Abjat-on-Bandiat is the city-departure of the third stage of the 40ème Tour of the Limousin, on Thursday, August 23, 2007. The runners will arrive at Rochechouart.
