Abilly

Abilly is a common French of the department of Indre-et-Loire, in the area Center.

Its inhabitants is called Abillois, Abilloises.

Geography

History

Human traces of occupation are attested as of the paleolithic one (sites moustériens of the shelter of the Rocks and the Reignoux shelter). Abilly belongs to an geographical area, centered on Le_Grand-Pressigny, rich in archeological sites dating from the final Neolithic era, characterized by the size of large flint blades. One of these sites Neolithic era, Small Paulmy, was arranged in museum of site (Archéolab)
