The Aberdeenshire is an area located in the North-East of the Scotland, on the the North Sea. It is sprinkled mainly by the two rivers which converge towards Aberdeen: Dee and the Gift.

The coastal part, in the east, is an area of fertile plains while towards the west, the Grampians Mountains with tops with more than 1.000 meters of altitude (Cairngorm and Ben Macdui) are almost completely uncultivated.
