Abel Michéa
Abel Michéa (born on March 18th, 1920, died in 1986) was a French sports correspondent, specialized in cycling.
Biography
Abel Michéa, father of the writer and philosopher Jean-Claude Michéa, was born in the Hollow one, but very young person it becomes high-Savoyard, while coming to settle with Annecy. It begins in journalism by writing measuring rods for the departmental sheets (" The Messenger of Haute-Savoie ") or regional (" small Dauphinois" , " the Progress of Lyon"). Refusing the STO it engages in the Résistance, the maquis ftp of Haute-Savoie, and adheres to the French Communist party. It finishes the war with the rank of officer ftp. It is chief of the sports column there, until 1963, then international reporter, until its professional retirement, in 1982. It follows many Tour de France, and is one of the figures of the sports correspondents " engagés" years 1950-1980.
