Abel Dubois
Abel Joseph Dubois , born with Erbisœul on January 5th, 1921 and died in Mons on October 18th, 1989, was a Belgian politician member of the Socialist party. He was teacher of formation and was inspector of technical education.
It was elected to advise communal of Mons in 1953, then became alderman of the State education and the Culture of 1965 with 1969 and of 1972 with 1973 and finally burgomaster of the commune of 1974 until its death.
He was elected senator in 1965 and was Minister for the State education of 1968 at 1972. Inter alia, it founded renovated secondary education, created special teaching and initiated the teaching of social advancement.
