Abdoulaye Bathily

Abdoulaye Bathily is a historian and a politician Senegal board.

Biography

Abdoulaye Bathily was born in 1947 with Tuabou - a village of the Département of Bakel formerly capital of the Royaume of Galam -, of which he is the deputy since May 2001.

He is professor of modern history and contemporary to the Université Sheik Anta Diop of Dakar.

Several times minister, it belonged to the candidates to the presidential election sénégalaise of 2007, in the name of the coalition " Jubbanti-Sénégal" , democratic League/Movement for the party of work (LD/MPT). It collected 75.797 votes there, that is to say 2,21%.
