Abdoulaye Ascofaré
Abdoulaye Ascofare is a scenario writer and poet Mali in. It was born the April 20th 1949 with Gao (Mali).
Biography
It followed studies of theater then of cinema.He was stimulating radio operator until 1978 before being teaching at the National institute of Arts with Bamako In 1984, it is graduate Institute of state of Cinematography in the USSR, it becomes realizer at the National center of Film production of Bamako in 1985. From 1991, it produces several court-measurings. In 1997, it leaves its first feature film entitled “Faraw, a mother of sands” This film, which recalls twenty-four hours of the life of a woman of the country songhaï, received “gold Artistic creation Bayard” to the Festival of Namur in 1997.
Poet, it published “To domesticate the dream”.
