Abdallah II of Jordan
Its Majesty Abdallah II King of the kingdom hachémite of the Jordan (rear RTL الملكعبداللهالثانى), born the January 30th 1962 with Amman, is the king of Jordan since the February 7th 1999 and succeeds his/her father Hussein of Jordan. He represents the last generation of the family of the hachémites, he is the downward 43e in hot line of Mahomet.
He makes his studies in Amman, with St Edmund in England, then his secondary in the United States. He enters to the Royal Academy of Sandhurst in 1980 then to the university of Oxford in 1982. Of return in Jordan, it enters the Jordanian army where it makes a career of officer.
It was not intended to become king, the crown prince being Hassan, brother of king Hussein, since 1965. But the January 24th 1999, thirteen days before its death, this one indicates Abdallah.
He is married with Rania Al-Yassin, born in 1970 with the Kuwait, since June 10th, 1993. They have four children:
- Hussein, born on June 28th, 1994;
- Iman, born on September 27th, 1996;
- Salma, born on September 26th, 2000;
- Hashem, born on January 30th, 2005.
