Abbey of Salenques
The Abbey of Abundance-God or Salenques was a Abbaye Cistercien located at Them Border-on-Arize.
The Monastère cistercian of women (order of Citeaux) of Salenques (also called Notre-Dame of Abundance-God) was founded by Aliénor de Comminges and its son Gaston Fébus in September 1353.
Eléonore de Comminges will be made there bury.
The Monastère was tiny room to the state of ruins in 1574 during the wars of religion. The community took refuge with Montesquieu-Volvestre, then with Toulouse in 1679.
