Abbey of Be worth in Ornois
the abbey of Vaux in Ornois with Saint-Joire in the Meuse (55) was created in 1130 by Ebal count de Montfort, Thibaut II of Champagne and the Bardoni Abbot of Crete. The abbey is burned during the wars of religion in 1568, then it is plundered in 1575. The pleasing War Thirty Year old of new devastations and the goods are finally confiscated in 1791 at the time of the Revolution. There do not remain any more vestiges of this abbey, the cemetery monachal being destroyed in 1841. Dom Guyton described the armorial bearings of the abbey.
