Abbas Moussaoui

Abbas Al-Moussaoui (Arab: عباسالموسوي) (born in 1952, dead the February 16th 1992) was a politician and a monk Lebanon influential board, he was also the leader of the Hezbollah. He died assassinated by the Israeli Armée in 1992.

Moussaoui was born in the village from Al-Nabi Shayth in the flat from Bekaa with the Lebanon. It made its religious studies with Nadjaf in Iraq. Bottom, it was deeply influenced by the ideals of the Ayatollah Rouhollah Khomeini. It returns to Lebanon in 1978. February 16th, 1992, of the Israeli helicopters attacked a procession of car in the southern Lebanon or was Moussaoui. It finds death with his wife, her son five year old and four other people. Following this assassination, the Israeli embassy with Buenos Aires is attacked, the attack is allotted to a Palestinian kamikaze using a van faggot of explosives. It would have belonged to Islamic Jihad and would have liked to avenge the assassination by Israel for the Lebanese leader of Hezbollah sheik Abbas Al-Musawi and its family. Nevertheless, the evolution of the investigations will deny this track.

After its death, it is Hassan Nasrallah which takes again the head of Hezbollah.
