Abaucourt-Hautecourt is a common French, located in the department of the Meuse and the area Lorraine.

Geography

The village is located on the road N.3 (from now on D603), almost halfway between Verdun (in the west) and Étain (in the east).

Broville , in the north of the RN 3, and facing symmetrically with Hautecourt-lès-Broville, the south.
Eix-Abaucourt , small alignment of houses on the southern part of the RN 3, halfway between Eix and the real core of the village Abaucourt'.

Souppleville , just in the north of Eix-Abancourt , on the other side of the road.

Demography

Before " réunion" of the 2 communes, " Abaucourt-lès-Souppleville" counted (in 1954) 123 inhabitants and " Hautecourt-lès-Broville" 67 inhabitants.

History

In the years 1970, Abaucourt-lès-Souppleville united with Hautecourt-lès-Broville to constitute a new named commune " Abaucourt-Hautecourt".
