Abandon is an album of Deep Purple left in 1998. It with the heavy spot to succeed Purpendicular (1996) which had proven that the group could still leave the good music. The title " is noticed; Bludsucker" , begun again title " Bloodsucker" , left at the beginning in the album " In Rock" in 1970. Steve Morse is worthy of its post of substitute of Ritchie Blackmore, Ian Gillan makes benefit from the power of its voice and the battery of Ian Paice is always quite present as at the beginning.
